Here's One Group Of Foods That Are Great For Your Penis
It's well know today that specific behaviors, like smoking, can heighten your risk
of erectile dysfunction. Additionally there are certain things you can put
in your body, like, uh, whiskey, that could also have an adverse effect on
your penis too. There are foods however that can give you a boost to your penis and help you avoid erectile dysfunction.
A new study, resently published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, has revealed
that simply consuming more flavonoid-rich foods like fruits,
vegetables, tea, and red wine could seriously decrease your risk of
developing erectile dysfunction (ED), thereby help in saving your sex life.
Flavonoids
are a type of phytonutrient that give fruits like grapes and
blueberries their rich color, and have incredible antioxidant and
anti-inflammatory properties. The flavonoid anthocyanin encourages blood flow, which is the mother of erections, so no wonder it’s good for your penis.
The study, that was led by Aedin Cassidy,
a professor of nutrition at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK,
followed approximately 25,000 men over 10 years, and had them fill out food-frequency
questionnaires every 4 years to track their dietary patterns. The men
also self-rated their ED, and the
researchers found that the men who ate more flavonoid-rich foods had lower rates of ED.
“Men
who regularly consumed foods high in these flavonoids were 10% less
likely to suffer erectile dysfunction. In terms of quantities, we're
talking just a few portions a week,” Cassidy stated in a press release at the University of East Anglia.
It’s also well worth mentioning that having lots of flavonoids in your diet
can also reduces your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
Men
who consumed the most flavonoids had the strongest boners, and men who
got most of their flavonoids from fruit had a whopping 14% reduction in
erectile dysfunction risk. Sounds like a small price to pay for a well
working penis.
What are the foods with the most erection-friendly flavonoids,
you ask? Try blueberries, cherries, radishes, celery, citrus fruits,
parsley, thyme, hot peppers, tea, and red wine. They’re your manhood's
best friend.
